How We Work
At Ivy, we run 3 basic types of programme.
All can be used as stand alone programmes, or can be mixed and matched however you would like.
We have a ‘CrossFit’ programme, which are the most rounded. There is a lot of strength and mobility work involved in these sessions, or in other words, we lift heavy and get mobile. And we finish with a WoD – an intense workout used to develop different aspects of Fitness and to track and measure your progress.
Our ‘Ivy Fitness’ programme revolves more around core strength and muscular endurance work. Think about ‘HIIT’ type workouts, but more effective, fun and brutal.
And we have the ‘Ivy Barbell Club’ – a programme dedicated solely to Olympic Weightlifting. Strength and technique drills designed to improve your Olympic Weightlifting.
We have members that do all types of session throughout the week, and some that stick to just one type. Whatever you enjoy doing, we’ll have a programme for you.
Along with our basic programmes, we also offer Personal Training, for those that have specific goals, or need a little more assistance.
And it wouldn’t be right for our amazing facility not to offer an Open Gym membership, so the team can train round the clock, pretty much whenever they want.
Finally, we are proud to announce we run the UKs only ‘Wimp 2 Warrior’ programme, the life-changing MMA experience. This is a selection-only programme. To be considered for this, get in touch.
